E Center Migrant Early Head Start

Migrant Seasonal/Migrant Early Head Start provides quality childcare services free of cost to low income families that work in agriculture related work such as; working in produce fields, produce canning, and packing plants.

Care is provided for children four weeks to five years of age.

The Preschool Centers and Family Child Care Homes are open 12 hours a day, 5 days a week, during harvest time (from late Spring through mid to late fall depending on the crop season). Weekend care may be available through our Family Child Care option.

In addition to quality care, the children receive bilingual instruction, kindergarten preparation, nutritious meals, and services for the well-being of the entire family.  

At both our Preschool Centers and Family Child Care Homes, we celebrate and respect your child’s cultural heritage. The majority of our staff is bilingual in English/Spanish, to assist your child in his/her home language and in the introduction of the English language.

We offer Preschool Centers and/or Family Childcare sites in eight counties in Northern California, and receive applications year-round.
